Hathcocks' prayer update excerpts

Greeting from Debrecen.

God is adequate to meet all our needs and to enable us to do His will. We continue to press on with school. The girls are doing well. God has given me wisdom for curriculum for next year! So thankful for the time that I can meet with our neighbors to practice Hungarian. I am learning so much. We were saddened to hear that our neighbor who has been in the hospital passed away. "F" was a dear friend and we are sad that he is gone. We shared the gospel with him but are unsure if he ever decided to follow after Jesus.

We have been slowly painting different rooms in our home and it is amazing how much stuff we have accumulated. How I really want to simplify things. We did get rid of a lot of stuff but we still have so much. The next several weeks will be busy for us, but in a good way. We are so thankful for the people that God sends to us and we are always so blessed.

Please pray:
  • We are blessed to have John and Sue with us at the beginning of the week. We will have lunch with our neighbors who are not Christians, so you can pray for the opportunity to share again and that they would see their need for a relationship with Jesus.
  • Darrel was able to have a great conversation with one of his students while he was on campus. Pray for all the seeds that were planted to grow and bear fruit.
  • Thursday Darrel will be picking up a friend from the States and they will be spending time with a student who is not a Christian. Pray for their conversation. We will probably have him and his mother over for dinner so we will have more opportunity to share with them.
  • Thursday I will be speaking with some young mothers at a play group, so pray that God would give me words of encouragement for them.
  • Saturday Arianna will take the SAT. Pray for her as she prepares and that she will be able to do her best as she takes the test.
  • Saturday night we will have our monthly English worship night. Pray for encouragement for those who come.
  • Lift up our church, as they have a burden to reach out to the community, that God would show them His plan.
  • We had a great time meeting some new students at coffee house -- pray that they will come again next week.
Thank you so much for your prayers!

His servant,
Kimberly Hathcock
