Hathcocks' prayer update excerpts

Greetings from the Road,

Today we are travelling to be with a church tonight to share our stories of what God is doing in Hungary. We have been blessed to spend time with some Belarussian friends this week. God has given us the ability to remember the Russian language. We are so excited that Arianna will be graduating this coming Saturday with other homeschoolers in the Springfield area. God continues to grow her and work through her life in a beautiful way. Yesterday our girls along with some other MK’s set up a craft booth at a local festival. They had so much fun, learned a lot and even earned some money. This week we will also have more opportunities to be with our Belarussian friends. We are thankful for our church family and friends who continue to love and bless these servants of God.

Please continue to pray:
  • Renewed spiritual and physical strength for our Belarussian friends as they continue to meet with others this week. God will show others how to pray for and partner with them in their ministry in Belarus.
  • Arianna would be encouraged and hopeful about the amazing things He has planned for her even if she doesn’t know what that is yet.
  • I am reminded of the incredible lostness of so many people in Belarus so keep praying for the good news to spread and for many to accept this gift of salvation.
  • Our neighbor in Springfield has stage 4 lung cancer. She and her husband are not believers so pray that we will they will know Jesus.
  • We would continue to be attentive to the things that God is saying and teaching us.
Thank you so much for your prayers!

Hathcocks' prayer update excerpts

Greetings from Springfield,

Happy Mother's Day!

Thanking God for opportunities that we have had to share the things that God is doing in Debrecen. We have finally finished up our medical appointments and are close to finishing school. We are excited for Arianna who will be graduating on May 21st and is planning on going to Dallas Baptist University in the Fall. It has been good to be in the States and we are really enjoying our time here.

God continues to bring people and opportunities into our lives. He has sent several men to Darrel to disciple and an opportunity to have one of our doctors and his family over for dinner. This doctor and his wife are from another country and we had a great time talking with them and had some great discussions about religion and Jesus. We continue to hear about God's continued work in Debrecen with a young man "A" who is really growing in the Lord. One of the guys from our Monday night Bible study is discipling him. God's work continues.

Please continue to pray:
  • God would show Darrel how to encourage these men to grow in their relationship with God.
  • The doctor and his family. They are culturally another religion but are really seeking to know what is true. Pray that God will give us and others who are Christians opportunities to share with them.
  • "A" as he meets for discipleship that he would see and understand the truth and grow in his relationship with God.
  • God would allow us to remember Russian as we will be helping to interpret for some friends from Belarus.
  • We would keep our eyes on Jesus and be obedient to the things that He shows us each day!
Thank you!
