Hathcocks' prayer update excerpts

Greetings from Debrecen!

So wonderful to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus -- He is risen! Three simple words that mean so much!

Last night we had our first English worship time and we had so much fun gathering together and worshiping Him.  This week I thought maybe we would be literally blown away. We had very strong winds that blew relentlessly for several days. It seems quiet now after the busyness of the last couple of weeks. We are thankful for all that God has done and we stand amazed!

Please continue to pray:
  • For the Monday night discipleship time, that God would give us words of encouragement for those who come. Pray that they will grow in boldness in sharing their faith with others.
  • For God to give Darrel wisdom as he teaches; this week it will be over a character quality. Pray that the students' hearts would be open to hearing about Jesus. There are many in his class who are from different religious backgrounds. Pray that they will see Jesus for who He really is and not what they have been taught. Only God can open and change their hearts.
  • For spiritual conversations at Coffee House on Thursday night.
  • That God would continue to give us wisdom and discernment as we meet with students this week. Darrel had a great conversation with "R," and God is working in his life. He also talked with "D." Pray for these young men, that they would give their lives to Jesus. Also that "J" would decide to surrender to God.
Thank you so much for your prayers!

Blessings,
Kimberly
