Hathcocks' prayer update excerpts

Greetings from Debrecen,

We are thankful for the coming of spring and time spent with friends. We had a great group of students come to discipleship time and are thankful for how they are growing and how some have stepped out in leadership. Darrel's class continues to do well and we are thankful for the continued openness of the students and the wisdom that God has given Darrel as he prepared for it. We had some great conversations with students on Thursday, among them were several unbelievers. Our new pastor at the Hungarian church that we are involved with has officially moved and has begun his ministry in Debrecen.

Please pray:
  • We would keep our focus on Jesus and His Kingdom in the midst of living life.
  • God would give our students boldness and courage to share their faith through out the week. The ladies are working on their testimonies, pray that God would give them wisdom in how to organize their thoughts.
  • One young lady from the Monday group would like to find a church that she can be a part of so that she can be baptized. Pray that God will show her clearly where she needs to go and that she would follow through obediently with baptism.
  • Darrel's students on Wednesday would respond to how God is drawing them to Himself. They would recognize their need for God.
  • Continued wisdom for me as I wait on God to show me the best curriculum and resources for the next school year.
  • Arianna as she prepares to take an AP test and the SAT at the beginning of May. God would give her wisdom as she studies, the ability to do well and to keep up with her other classes.
  • I am grateful that even though my computer crashed last week that we were able to get a new hard drive which makes it run better than it did before. Pray that my documents from the old hard drive could be recovered.
Thank you so much for praying for us!

Blessings,
Kimberly
