Wow! What a week! We spent the beginning of the week hanging out with and saying goodbye to Arianna. I didn't know that it would be so hard. We are excited about what God will do in her life this year but we will miss her. Darrel and I have been sharing a summer cold as well. Darrel preached this morning at a church and encouraged the students who have been here for the summer. We spent part of the day yesterday with J, a student from Pakistan. This week we will help another student move. Darrel will continue with language study. The girls and I will enjoy one more week before we start school. Our books are still in customs!
Please pray:
- Our books will be released from customs so we can start school. God would give us wisdom and favor with the post office and customs office.
- Arianna just moved into a different apartment so we are praying that it will quickly become her new home and a place of peace. She would have the strength for this week as she helps to welcome new students and to trust God to take care of all her needs.
- J, a friend and student who has moved from being Muslim, to being open to Christianity, to atheist. We are asking God to open his heart and reveal Himself to J in such a way that he will know the one true God.
- Opportunities to share Christ and encourage G as we help her move into another apartment. Praying for a new openness in her life to God.
- We would keep our eyes on Jesus and run the race with endurance!
