Salt and Light - June 25

Greetings from Debrecen,

We are thankful for seasons of rest especially as we prepare for the times of service. This week begins the season of activity. God is at work and we look with anticipation as to what He will do! We will have many different guests this week that will pass through our home. One young man that we have been praying, "D," will be with us today and for a few days as well as some students from the states who will be passing through in the middle of the week on their way to Slovakia to serve. Darrel and Arianna will be joining a group from Texas to teach English at the main Baptist church in town.

Please pray:

  • That "D" would see Jesus in our lives! God would open his eyes to what it means to be forgiven and to have a relationship with a loving God.
  • The students who will be passing through to Slovakia to serve this summer, that God would encourage, stretch and use them as they serve.
  • Darrel and Arianna as they serve with the group, that God would give them strength and wisdom as they teach, and opportunities to share the gospel.
  • People would be refreshed and encouraged as they pass through our home!
  • The mechanics that were going to come over last week canceled. I think the enemy distracted them, so pray for God's timing and that their hearts would be open to the truth.
  • Tuesday we will have dinner with our friend from Israel and her brother and sister. Pray for God to give us opportunities and the words to speak that would cause them to consider a relationship with Jesus.
Thank you!

One of His servants,

Kimberly Hathcock
