Salt and Light - June 18

Family and friends,

Thankful for God’s faithfulness to help us finish school this week! Abigail survived Algebra and we are looking forward to some time off school. Sophia celebrated her 14th birthday last week as well. We continue to enjoy having Arianna at home with us.

The other day I was walking down our street and recognized a young lady who had been my physical therapist in Debrecen over a year ago. She lives down the street from us!  We will see how God will use this!

Darrel invited the mechanics down the street over for burgers this week and they are not believers.

We are trusting God to direct our hearts and to put His desires in our hearts according to the plans He has for us. We walk by faith and not by sight!  Seems to be our Motto.

Please pray:
  • "Z," a student who will be taking a very important exam this week. That God would allow her to pass and that she would see that it is He who is helping her and her faith and dependence on Him would grow.
  • "M," a neighbor who is not a believer, that she would be open to the possibility of learning more about God as she faces uncertainty in her life.
  •  The mechanics and their families who will be joining us on Friday for burgers, that we would not miss any opportunities that God gives us to speak about Him.
  • As our girls struggle with finding their place in the Hungarian church, that God would encourage them and give them friendships and the ability to do the hard things with a good attitude.
Thank you so much for praying for us!

One of His servants,

Kimberly Hathcock
