Hathcocks' prayer update excerpts

Greetings from Springfield,

So thankful to be a follower of Christ! So glad that Jesus overcame death and sin! I am thankful for this time of the year when we can take the time to celebrate Jesus and what He has done for us on the cross. This week has been full but good. I received good news from my MRI which indicates that God has healed my back! Knowing that encourages me to wait on God and continue with PT as He heals the nerve and muscles.

We are preparing for a road trip to Mississippi and Virginia to visit family and participate in a mission debriefing conference. This last Saturday we participated in a St. Patrick's Day parade with our friend Jerry who has a Model A car. It was cold and windy but we still had a lot of fun passing out candy and gospel tracts. We are thankful for the unique experiences that God gives us. We are continually thankful for the mission house where we are staying and for providing a car for us to drive.

Please pray:
  • Those who received a gospel tract would read it and God's Spirit would continue to draw their hearts to Him. Their eyes and hearts would be open to the truth.
  • Safety as we will be traveling. We would be an encouragement to our family and we would be attentive to hear God's voice while we are attending this conference. Our girls would be encouraged as they will be with other missionary kids.
  • Darrel's mom will probably have surgery this week so pray for wisdom for the doctors and complete healing for his mom. Darrel's second cousin Doug has been struggling with health problems and is nearing the end of his life. Pray that God would give him peace and comfort as well as those who love him.
  • We have a lot of speaking opportunities after this conference so pray that God would show us which stories that He wants us to share and the things He wants us to share.
  • God would give Arianna clarity and peace as she makes a final decision about where to go to college.
Thank you so much for praying for us! We will be gone for the next two Sundays so I will write when we return.

One of God's servants,

Kimberly Hathcock
