Hathcocks' prayer update excerpts

Greetings from Debrecen.

So thankful for God's strength and peace that He gave us during our language exams. The results are in His hands and we trust Him. We are mostly thankful that it is over and a huge amount of stress has been eliminated for now. We press on with the things that God wants us to do and to continue to invest in the lives of those around us. Tonight we will spend time with a new friend from Israel who will allow us to join her for the first day of Hanukkah. We are so thankful for the people that God has brought into our lives.

Please continue to pray:
  • Tonight as we will spend time with our friend, that we will see the opportunities that God gives us to speak about Him. Our friend would be open to talking about spiritual things.
  • We are still waiting to hear about some scholarships for Arianna, pray that God would use this time to direct her heart and to put His desire in her heart for where He wants her to go to school.
  • Our focus would be on God and to be obedient.
  • There are still several who are coming to Bible study who are not Christians. A young man from another country came last week and is very open.
  • L, a young lady I met during the language testing. She came to the English worship service this past Saturday and seemed very open. She is from Holland and returned on Sunday. Pray that she will ponder the things that she has heard and would respond by giving her heart to Jesus.
  • Several people who are coming to coffee house who are not Christians, that we would be able to get into a deeper discussion with them about spiritual things.
  • The students as they finish up their last week of classes and prepare for finals. They would realize how much they need God.

Thank you for faithfully praying for us each week.

One of His servants,
Kimberly Hathcock
