Hathcocks' prayer update excerpts

Greetings from Debrecen.

We are so thankful for God's provision and safety during our vacation. We returned last Sunday evening and jumped right back into our life in Debrecen. So thankful for our Monday night discipleship time. One of the young men accepted Christ while we were gone. God is good! We have enjoyed reconnecting with students who are still finishing up exams. In Debrecen they have quite a comprehensive final which also includes an oral exam, so exam period will go till the end of June -- maybe even longer if students want to try again for a higher grade. Interesting system. Back into the routine of P.T. and asking God for continued healing. I have been meeting with some of the girls' teachers and getting things prepared for the next school year. We are so thankful for the monthly English worship time and the encouragement that it brings to so many.

Please pray:
  • For wisdom in how to order our time as we develop a summer routine. Arianna has two more classes to finish for this year. We are also trying to work out the timing for further language study.
  • That "J" would surrender to God. God continues to work in his heart. Some bad things have happened in his life. Pray that he will turn to God and see how God is helping him.
  • That "D" would see Jesus in our lives and that God would continue to draw him.
  • A friend will come over this week to cook a national dish for us. Pray that he will know Jesus.
  • That Monday night students would have the courage to share the gospel with their friends and those whom God places in their lives. The students would make wise choices that would draw them closer to God.
  • Curtis Smith will be arriving, he will be working in the area of agriculture this coming week. Pray as he meets with people that he will have opportunities to share the gospel.
  • We will also have a friend and a family member over for dinner this week. Pray that we will be sensitive to when the Holy Spirit would have us share with them, and that they would see Jesus in our family.

Thank you so much for your prayers!
Blessings,
Kimberly Hathcock
