Hathcocks' prayer update excerpts

Greetings from Debrecen,

Wow, what an amazing week! The two pastors from the states, Scott and Adam,  did a great job encouraging men to be leaders in the church and the importance of discipleship in the life of every believer. God brought the men to each of the meeting places and it is so neat to see what God is doing in the lives of men in Hungary. We had a great time on Monday just sharing about how God was working in our lives.

Wednesday night two students from Darrel's class met with him for coffee and they had some great conversations. Please keep praying for these students! Last week we prayed for spiritual conversations and God answered our prayers...Yeah, God!

Language lesson with our neighbors went really well. God is helping me speak Hungarian.

Praising God for all of you who are praying for students in Debrecen.

Please continue to pray:
  • The men who participated in the teaching time this week would be obedient to the things that God has revealed to them. That they would see who it is they are to invest in and disciple.
  • God would direct Darrel as he prepares for class. Last week they talked about character and integrity and it is interesting how people approach the subject of character and what it means to them. Pray for wisdom during the class discussion and for people who God is at work to continue the discussion after class.
  • The girls and I will be on campus talking with students, pray that God will send those whom he desire for us to talk with and for opportunities to share with those who are not believers.
  • We have several non-Christians coming to coffee house, pray that we will have the opportunity to share the gospel with them in our conversations. Pray that we will also have encouraging words for the believers who come.
  • D., a student who needs to know Jesus. His dad has a high position in the community in his home country.
Thank you so much for praying this week.

Blessings,
Kimberly Hathcock
