Hathcocks' prayer update excerpts

Greetings from Debrecen,

We are so thankful for God's provision. So thankful for the opportunities to invest in the lives of young people that He has sent to us!! Arianna did a great job playing piano at the coffee house. We had some great conversations and I think many students were encouraged.

We are also blessed to have a pastor and friend to come and challenge men to accept their responsibility to lead the church and to disciple others. Darrel's class continues to do well because people are praying for him. If you are still interested in praying for individual students till the end of May then let me know and I will give you a name.

Please continue to pray!
  • Darrel and the group that will be traveling to different cities in Hungary to challenge and encourage men. Pray for safety and that these men will accept this challenge and to be obedient to what God reveals to them during the conference.
  • This week Darrel will be teaching about a character quality. Pray that the students will participate in the discussion and that at some point they will be able to share about spiritual things.
  • Discipleship time on Monday, this week will be more of a sharing and fellowship time. Pray that they will be willing to share what God is doing in their lives and that they would be encouraged by each other and how God is working in their lives.
  • Wednesday night as the girls and I spend time on campus, that God would direct us as we pray and meet with students.
  • Thursday as I meet with a language partner who is not a Christian, that God would enable me to understand and speak Hungarian. Also that God would give me understanding as I study.
  • Pray that we will keep our eyes on Him and have wisdom to navigate the path that is before us.

Thanks,
Kimberly Hathcock
