Hathcocks' prayer update excerpts

Greetings from Debrecen,

It is hard to believe that we have been back a week! I think the jet-lag is harder coming this way. We are thankful for the opportunities that we have had to reconnect with people. We are excited about the things that God will do this year and His wonderful plans that far exceed our own. It was great to meet with students at Coffee House and movie night at our home. Many students are finishing exams and spending time with family before the next semester begins.

Please pray:

  • Today we will have lunch with a friend and his family. Pray for opportunities to share Christ with them. They are not believers.
  • Monday I will have a follow-up appointment with the surgeon, pray for wisdom for the doctor as we discuss some of the pain and muscle spasms that seem to linger. I am doing so much better!!!
  • Wednesday night discipleship time, the students would have such a hunger and desire to know God. Although we have had a break, pray that they will still carve out this time in their schedule.
  • Darrel's course was approved by the university, Yeah! Pray that God would send those to sign-up for the class who need to hear the good news. Also pray for Darrel as he puts together the details of each class that God would show him what to teach.
  • We would be faithful to share the gospel with the people that God sends into our lives and not to miss any opportunities.
  • There are several students who are on the fence in the area of their faith. There is an intense battle going on in their hearts. Pray that they will choose to follow after Jesus 100%.
  • Diligence to stay on task with school. The girls will have a productive week.

Thank you!

Blessings,
Kimberly
