Greetings from St. Louis,
We are thankful for all that God has done this week!!!! I cannot tell you how much we value your prayers. As I have been reflecting on this last year there are so many things that have happened that can only be explained by God's power and people praying and nothing that we had planned. We were blessed to help serve at a Christmas party for families who have incarcerated loved ones. We were encouraged by a good report from the doctors concerning my dad's blood work and his improving health. Christmas in America, now that is a different kind of culture shock!
Please continue to pray:
- We will be helping with another big Christmas party on Monday. Pray that we will be helpful and have opportunities to talk with people about Jesus.
- My dad has another big appointment on Tuesday with his doctor. Pray for clarity and wisdom for the doctor. My dad's health would continue to improve and wisdom for him as he starts back with some of his work.
- Healing and comfort for Darrel as he ended up having a wisdom tooth removed on Friday. He was in a lot of pain last night so pray that he will get some relief.
- Wisdom for us as we determine the best way to spend the rest of our time in the states.
